DON JOHNSON in MIAMI VICE introducing a new elegant look: a formal jacket worn over a casual t-shirt, all in a wonderful, frivolous palet of pastels; challenging the conventions of the macho culture he represented.
Mr. OSCAR WILDE reading aloud the dazzling first sentence of THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY at one of his public readings in 1890, thereby triggering quite a scandal. "The studio was filled with the rich odour of roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden, there came through the open door the heavy scent of the lilac, or the more delicate perfume of the pink-flowering thorn".
ELVIS in Vegas singing ALWAYS ON MY MIND.
A 40-year-old naked HELMUT BERGER leaning against a mantlepiece, staring into a mirror, the reflection of his face shot by HELMUT NEWTON, who thus produced his one and only full male nude in Beverly Hills in 1984.
WOLFGANG TILLMANS showing up in an impeccable black tuxedo to receive his TURNER PRIZE in 2000 - well deserved, naturally.
Gentleman BRYAN FERRY turning every ROXY MUSIC concert in the 70s into an exciting new fashion statement - from the futuristic teddy-boy look through to gaucho chic, GI glamour and FERRY's sharp white tuxedo. Even the audience dressed up for the event.
The shock surprise of Mr. YVES SAINT LAURENT himself attending HEDI SLIMANE's first menswear show for DIOR.
The debut of a new scruffy SERGE GAINSBOURG look when he released HISTOIRE DE MELODY NELSON in 1971: stubbly face, collar unbottoned, wearing a double-breasted jacket over a pair of blue jeans and - best of all - bare feet in soft white dancing shoes.
BRET EASTON ELLIS' extremely elaborate, verging-on-the-absurd monologues about minor clothing and style details in AMERICAN PSYCHO.
TOM SELLECK as MAGNUM PI, unifying the most outspoken moustache ever seen on TV with the best pair of RAY-BANS ever produced, stepping out of his red FERRARI 308 and revealing massive thighs emerging from the shortest, shortest shorts ever.
Watching TOP OF THE POPS and witnessing MORRISSEY on stage with THE SMITHS, in an oversized blouse and a bunch of daffodils tucked in his back pocket, singing WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?
"Well, it makes one", is what we're saying here. However quietly or extravagantly delivered, style is all about making a difference, about the will to stand out. This page is dedicated to those men who celebrate their personality and share their style. It's time to be FANTASTIC, and this is just the beginning...

Y tienen pelis mejores y peores.
